The purpose of this track is to build upon the CGSC-T™ Technician and CGSC-A™ Administrator foundation and to gain knowledge and vendor certification with advanced Cisco router technologies and network perimeters in SMBs and large Enterprise level networks.
Candidates will complete multiple Cisco and advanced Cyber Security and Data Center Management classes. Candidates will be required to seamlessly integrate and synthesize these platforms within an advanced Microsoft Windows Data-Center Server environment and remain current with future Microsoft Windows Data-Center Server operating systems.
Pre-requisites: All coursework from the CGSC-T™ and CGSC-A™ from the ITS3 Cyber Security Institute completed or "Grandfathered" by us, and holds a Bachelor's Degree from any accredited college or university preferably with a major in Information Technology or Cyber-Security.
All candidates must also have earned the Cisco CCENT/CCNA certification which is normally completed in the CGSC-T™ Program.
To earn the certification the candidate must complete the following FOUR required Cyber-Guardian Courses, Modules, or CGSC™ Forums, and be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree (Information Technology or Cyber-Security) with any accredited college or university. These courses prepare you for certification in these areas but add significant depth and breadth in the field and study of Cyber-Security.
1. Cisco Certified Network Associate in Security (CCNA-Security)
2. Cisco Certified Design Associate in Security (CCDA-Security)
3. Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
4. Advanced Data Center Design, Engineering & Management
Once the student completes their vendor certification exams, the candidate then must complete the CGSC-A™ Professional Exam which is comprised of (1) one-day of oral examination, (2) one-day of written-comprehensive exam, and (3) one-day of lab-based verification and troubleshooting.
"Grand Fathering"
We recognize that many individuals will already hold some or all of the pre-requisites for the CGSC-E™ certification.
Those who do may apply for advanced status through our "grand-fathering" program. For the CGSC-E™ the candidate must (1) hold the required certifications and (2) have no less than five-years of verifiable field experience. Field experience may include internships, externships, military service or professional exployment. All candidates pay a "Grand-Fathering" fee of $1000.
