Pre-requisites: CGSC-T™ and CGSC-A™ and either the CGSC-E™ or CGSC-M™ from the ITS3 Cyber Security Institute and a Master's Degree in Information Systems.
To earn the certification the candidate must have no less than five-years of verifiable field experience, and then successfully pass all three sections of the CGSC-P™ Professional Exam (Oral, Comprehensive/Written and Lab) to be awarded the Cyber-Guardian Security Professional Certification™.
The CGSC-IE™ Cyber Security Instructor-Examiner:
After a total of five-years of verifiable field experience, which includes your time in training with us, and holding the CGSC-P™ Professional Certification, you may apply to become a CGSC-IE™ Instructor Examiner with us.
An application fee of $100 is charged to review and verify the candidates certifications and work experience. You will then be allowed to teach and train other candidates and to proctor CGSC™ Professional Examinations.
We will grant exceptional candidates this credential on a case-by-case basis which normally includes five-years of verifiable field experience, numerous electronic security certifications, a graduate MIS degree and strong letters of recommendations.
Their experience must also include significant training experience normally demonstrated by holding a MCT from Microsoft or CCSI from Cisco. Those holding Ph.D. or DBA doctoral degrees and Ph.D. or DBA students in the field of MIS are especially desirable.
College professors who teach the CGSC™ programs in their respective college or university are ex officio in this capacity by virtue of their academic positions. Those approved must agree to complete pre-requisite certifications in the CGSC™ tracks they instruct in.
The CGSC-XP™ Cyber-Security Certified Expert-Practitioner:
After a total of ten-years of verifiable field experience, which includes your time in training with us, and holding the CGSC™ Professional Certification, you may apply to become a CGSC-XP™ Expert Practitioner in the field of Electronic Cyber Security and Data Center Management. All candidates pay a fee of $1000 for review of their Curriculum Vitae.
Requirements beyond the ten-years of experience normally include holding several CGSC™ certifications, or the CISCO CCIE or Microsoft Certified Master/Architect, or a Ph.D. or DBA in Information Systems Management that clearly demonstrates your "expert" status in the field. Those earning this advanced level of certification will have reached a pinnacle of achievement that you can be most proud of and we believe you will have earned the admiration, respect and highest regard of your peers.
